Prepare practical living needs
Arrange bedding, storage, bathroom access, meals, drinking water, laundry, phone charging and a place for personal documents. Explain which household items are shared and which are private.
Check building access, transport from the arrival point and the first night’s rest. A respectful start is operational, not decorative: she should know where to sleep, eat, wash and ask for help.
Prepare information in a usable order
Create a one-page contact and safety sheet, then a separate first-week routine. Keep official records and copies in the employer file rather than mixing them into daily instructions.
Plan the first day around orientation, rest and one or two essential routines. Schedule cooking standards, cleaning rotations and complex care handovers for later demonstrations.
